Geometry Statement

Format
geometry geometry_name;
Description
The geometry statement creates a geometry with the name geometry_name. The geometry name must be unique and must contain only letters, numbers, or the underscore character. The name must begin with a letter. You can declare geometry globally in PROC GLOBAL or locally in functions or procedures.
Example
// Declare a geometry
geometry mygeometry;

// Capture polygon
mygeometry.tracePolygon();

// Compute the area of the captured polygon
AREA = mygeometry.area();

// Save the geometry to a file
mygeometry.save("polygon.geojson");
