Map not showing marker icon

If map default marker icon does not show on a map (i have tpk), what is the most likely reason?

Its picking coordinates though and the map is set in pff as basemap.

Greg sent me your application. I assume you're trying to get markers to show up on your map? I added an errmsg after the tap and your lat/long are notappl. I would start there.
