Error accessing ftp server

Dear all,

I was working with Dropbox connection and it worked perfect. However, now I tryed to access using FTP server, and I received the following message when I tried to do the sync setup: "An Error Occurred LST : An error occurred while retrieving listing from directory /"

I remain in this situation. If you have any idea which is the issue I will appreciate it.


In windows I can access the ftp server, also from other windos equipments, same by the web browser. I am using IIS, but the same result I had with Filezilla FTP server.

The cspro version in android is the last 6.0.4

It is hard to tell what the problem is from that error message. CSEntry is unable to list the files in the directory when it first connects. This could be because the user on your FTP server does not have permission to list that directory or a problem with your connection to the server.

I have used CSPro sync successfully with both IIS and Filezilla so that should not be a problem.

We have made a number of improvements to synchronization for the next version of CSPro (version 6.1) including better error messages when sync fails. We should be releasing the new version in the next 1-2 weeks. In the meantime you can try out these changes by using the latest beta (http://www.csprousers.org/beta/). Testing with the beta might give you an error message that would help diagnose the problem.

If that doesn't work and you don't mind sharing the login details for your FTP server with me (you can send them via private message) then I can try to connect to it and see if I can figure out why it is failing.

You are also welcome to test with my test FTP server which I know works with CSPro:
Host=ftp://ftp.teleyah.com/
Username=csprosync@teleyah.com
Password=CSProSync6.0
Download the specification file Pophouse-ftp.pnc and try synchronizing with it.

Please discard my original message. I found the issue, I havemade a mistake that I couldn't see at that time. now it is working properly.
