Writeform function

Post by htuser »

Dear Gregory,
It's very useful to have a pdf/word version of the Csentry's form filled with data when we use tablets for several reasons. In a previous message you advise us to use the writeform function to do it. However, until now i can't print it in spit of using an old version of cspro (4.1) with fviewer. Please, can you help us upgrading the fviewer for the next version of Cspro? Can you send to us a small sample with this function? There's another way to do it?
Now, we're obliged to do time consuming print screen and combination through image processing software to have a such file...
Thanks in advance,

The problem with FViewer is that it is used by such a small group of users that working on it is not necessarily the best use of our programmers' time. However, we just got a new developer on staff, so it could be something that we could prioritize at some point. I believe that ICFI (Macro) used to promote the tool. Have you contacted them to see what they use as a replacement? Right now I believe that they are using a mixture of CSPro 4.1/5.0 for their surveys. Perhaps they've come up with a solution on the 5.0 platform.

Dear Gregory,
This will be used more widely now because the Tablet's era survey. It's very important to have PDF export for filled cases because this will prevent discussions between surveyors and quality control/supervisors, so, after each day, surveyors can send/post easily a "not editable" copy of theirs forms.
Once again, we're waiting for your help to put us in contact with ICFI and try/test theirs Fviewer Tools.
Thanks in advance
