When an application or folder has been selected for zipping and is highlighted in the Inputs block, the Extra Inclusions block will become active. The dialog below shows the options available when zipping an application:
In addition to the files belonging to a single application that will be zipped, additional files can be added to the ZIP file that are:
- Referenced in the application (options 1 or 3).
- Described in the PFF itself (options 4 or 5).
- Created in the application logic (option 6).
If no PFF file is available for a given application, then only options 1-3 will be active. Options 1-6 only apply when zipping an application, whereas option 7 only applies when zipping a folder. The available options are as follows:
- Value Set Images: Includes any value set images associated with the application's dictionaries.
- Application PFF: Includes the PFF associated with the selected application (checked by default).
- Resource Folders: Includes all folders (with their contents) that were added to an application as a resource folder.
- Input Data: Includes the application's input data file(s). In addition to the data, any auxiliary files (such as notes) are also included. While data entry applications can have only one input file, batch and tabulation applications can have one or more input files.
- External Dictionary Data: Includes all data files associated with the application's external dictionaries.
- User Files (generated in logic): Includes any files that were generated via logic in the application.
- Recursive Directories: This option allows any subfolders within the selected folder to be included in the ZIP file.
Note that when an application or folder is highlighted in the Inputs area, that file name will be listed after Extra Inclusions. In the example above, this corresponds to Extra Inclusions: Household.ent. If a non-application file is highlighted in the Inputs area, the file name will not display as none of the options are available.
