CSENTRY problem on android

Hello Colleagues.

I am trying to run an app and having an issue on Android 9.0.
I have installed CSENTRY from Google Play. It tells me version is 8.0.
I am also having a PEN and PFF files of the app (created by another person).
I don't have any server (FTP, dropbox), and need to copy the files to the device manually. I literally follow the procedure described in this tutorial (page 11):
www2.census.gov/software/cspro/documentation/cspro-capi-getting-started.pdf
which indicates clearly the files must be copied to the "csentry" folder.
Despite having done this, the CSENTRY app still indicates that I don't have any valid data entry applications, doesn't recognise, see or react to the files I copy.
Has the location changed? What is the proper location now then?
Can anyone explain this step:"3. Copy the .PFF and the .PEN file to csentry Folder on the Devicec"?
Please, help!

In desperation I have tried to add a sample application called Simple CAPI, and it works just fine (but no new files appeared in the folder I created).

Thank you, Kavifi

Never mind. I have found the answer to my question online in "A New CSEntry Path on a More Secure Android OS"
