editing data with dataviewer

There is a security option in the dictionary that supposedly would allow the file to be edited in the dataviewer, but I could not use it to change any value in the dataviewer.

Hi Ari,
It appears that's been on the "to do" list for quite a while. So yes, that was the intention; although it would seem the name of the application, DataVIEWER, might need to be reimagined at that time.
Sorry for the confusion, I'll modify the help pg to reflect reality.
