Exporting to Excel

Hello!
I wanted to know if it is possible to export directly to Excel. Not a .csv file.
If not, why that is?

This is not possible with the current release. In the next release, which we hope to put out in a couple months, you will be able to write directly to Excel files, though not using the Export Data tool. We will support that in a future release (maybe CSPro 8.0 or 8.1). If you want to test the Excel writing, you can join the beta list:

We will probably put out a 7.7 beta in a month.
