Problem to update application in CSentry using csweb

Hi,

My Csweb server works fine and I can uplod application. Add application in CSentry is ok also.

After updating the application in CSweb, the application is viewed on CSentry and ready for update, here a screen shoot.

BUT when I click on the "Update" button I have an error.

I have tried with other tablets and it looks like OK for some tablets BUT not for all.

You're both downloading/installing an application, but the errors don't look to be the same. Are all the tablets you are trying to connect with on the same network? I'm wondering if it could just be a bad connection as the error suggests since it appears to be working intermittently.

Hi everybody,
I use the same network for all tablets.
On one tablet it works allways.
On other tablets it never works.
(CSWeb 7.6.0 and Csentry 7.6.1)

Can you attach the sync.log from the Android device with error and the var/logs/api.log from the server?

Hello,
I have reinitialized the csweb platform to better understand the problem (debian-10, ISPconfig-3, cswed diretory is named "wash", CSWeb 7.6.0, CSEntry 7.6.1) . Then I have uploaded the app to csweb, then downloaded the app from csweb and installed into two tablets (the first is known to be no problem, the second has an application update problem). The installations on both tablets are OK. Then, I have updated the app and synchronized the changes to the csweb server. At the end, I have tried to update the application on the first tablet, everything is fine. But, with se second tablet, the problem persists. Below the screenshot of error and sync.log on the tablet. The log file on the server ( var/logs/api-2021-06-24.log) is here also. Thank you.

Thanks for the clear explanation. Looking at the api.log it does appear that wimneel and you are having the same issue. using your instructions and winmeel's application I tried to reproduce the issue. However, I wasn't able to on my Pixel. My best guess at the moment is this has something to do with the software on the phone (e.g., Android version).

Can you give us the make/model and Android of the devices that are failing and succeeding?

Lenovo TAB3 7 ESSENTIAL (TB3-710I), Android 5.1

Tablets who fail :
Samsung Galaxy Tab J (GT-P1000), Android 7.1
Unknown? (KT107H), Android 9.0
