Dear All,

Is there a way, we can use wild card characters in syncdata function's syncuniverse parameter?

Actually, I need to sync data based on part of one column's data value.

The current version of syncdata only supports syncing with a text-based universe with no wildcards. Typically this is okay because people sync by geocodes, and so a universe like "01" would sync all files from, say, Province 1.

We have discussed expanding the universe options in a future release, but so far have not added such a feature.

It would be great addition and much awaited feature
