Dear Cspro Team,

I had this experience that i need help to understand on using concatenate data tool in 7.4. I had two files with unique IDs but
anytime i concatenate i realize the Concatenate Data Tool list Duplicates in this Data. Upon investigation i realize it only the id items that are different but all other content are the same. This is good ! I need some explaination on how the concatenate data tool works. Thanks

As you have seen, when you concatenate files the tool will report as duplicates any cases that have the same case ids. If it finds two cases with the same id, it will write only the first one to the output file. The concatenate tool can't tell you why or how you have duplicate cases in your data. It just tells which ones are duplicates.
