Unicode support and data entry on Andriod machines
Having Unicode feature is very important for many CSPro users who conduct surveys in the countries in which local language localisation is totally based on Unicode. Second important issue regards to the CSPro mobile, which is very handful tool. However, Android emerges as the leader and widespread operational systems. So it would be very convenient if CSPro was compatible with Android system.

Re: Unicode support and data entry on Andriod machines
David,
Those are the next steps for CSPro. Currently the Census Bureau staff are implementing Unicode support and in a month or two will be looking for beta testers for this version, CSPro 5. If you are interested in testing this version, let me know. The release version probably won't come out until the middle of 2012.
I'm a big proponent of data entry on Android devices and will keep pushing that to be the next priority for CSPro.

CSPro compatibility for Android systems. Do you have some estimated timeline for its release?

It should be formally released in a few weeks. It's basically done but there are some clearances at the Census Bureau that we have to take care of before we can release it.

Wow! Great news....! Looking forward to its release. I hope it will be released before September this year. Will it be?
