Hello,

I am building an application in CSpro 6.1. This morning I tried to open the .ent file and it gave me this message: "Ambiguous or not found symbol 'RETAILSURVEY.CITY' - please provide qualifiers enough to avoid ambiguity"

If I choose "okay" it just shuts down. What should I do?

This could have happened if you modified your data dictionary outside of the data entry application (opening the .dcf file instead of the .ent file) and removed or added items that are referenced on forms. Did you delete an item named "CITY" from the dictionary "RETAILSURVEY"? If that is the case go ahead open the dictionary (the .dcf), add the CITY item back to the dictionary, then close the dictionary and open the .ent file. Once you are able to open the .ent file you can go ahead and delete the item again. When the .ent file is open and you delete the item then CSPro knows to remove it from the forms as well.

If that doesn't work go ahead and use the pack application tool to create a zip file from your application and post it here.
