Fit Windows to Questions - not for CAPI Language 2

Dear all,
I have designed a CAPI application for use in Cambodia. I first drafted the questionnaire in English and then it was translated into Khmer. So, English is my CAPI language 1 and Khmer is my CAPI language 2. When I choose the option "Fit Windows to Questions", it does not show the full question in Khmer on the tablet computer. The question window is too small.
It does work on my laptop with a larger screen but not on the small one. What can I do? Is there any option in CSEntry to change the windows size?
Thanks for any advice.
Susan

Is this on an Android tablet or on a Windows tablet?

Fit Window to Questions just makes the question text window based on the largest question text in the application at the time you choose it. It doesn't dynamically change the Window size for each question as it displayed. That means if you did not have the text that is being cut off at the time that you did fit window to questions then the window will not be big enough. You can always make the question text window bigger by just dragging the splitter at the bottom of the question text window down when you are in the CSPro designer.

Thanks, Josh! I tried all of that and it did not help. As I said before, all works perfectly when I do this on my own laptop with a larger screen. My feeling is that the problem arises when I apply the same application (which shows perfectly on the laptop) to a smaller screen-size tablet. Some of the questions which fit on one line in my laptop then need two lines on the tablet. I therefore wonder if I can do anything in CSEntry itself which is installed on the tablet? Or would I have to install the full version of CSPro on one of the tablets in order to fit the window size right there?

Did you try just dragging the splitter all the way down to the bottom of the screen (completely covering up the form) in CSPro designer for the form that has the problem? If you do that is the question text area covering the whole screen of the tablet?
I don't think that the system tries to do anything smart based on screen size or based on being on a tablet. You should be able to get the same result by making the CSEntry window on your PC the same size as your tablet screen and see the same problem then. When you adjust the size of the question text area in a form in the CSPro designer it saves the height for that form and will use that same height on the tablet. If the screen on the tablet is not as wide as the screen on the PC then the text will wrap to the next line and will therefore take up more space vertically. To work around this you just need to keep dragging the gray bar down in the designer until the question text area is big enough to accomodate the text on the tablet.
Unfortunately I'm not in the office for the next couple of weeks so I don't have access to a Windows tablet to test with. If that doesn't work I'll see if I can get one of my colleagues to try to reproduce the problem.
