Thank you Gregory for your post, I understand your point to have all with the same behavoir, however our applications have a control system with folder structure, where files are located in different folders, so the current app cannot work in both versions at the same time, just because we have several tablets updated, and most are in the previous csentry version.
For future projects, it is clear how to manage, but in the middle it is a real problem

In my case the .pen and .pff are in the same directory, so, fortunately, by recompiling the applications with the 7.3 version did the job, and I´m in business again (so far).
But now I think I have to check very carefully all the changes involving external files and functions, such as set delete, etc, to see if they have any side effects.
