Synchronisation with bluetooth

Post by SM_User »

Hello All,

I am new to this forum.

I am currently synchronising between 2 tablets using bluetooth.

On a first try the synchronisation works perfectly but on the second try the bluetooth device is not detected in the cspro apps and I cannot sync.

You may wish to note that both tablets are new tablets and just configured to be using the apps and outside the cspro apps I can use bluetooth to connect to the other tablet.

Can someone please help me.

Can you attach the sync.log from each device and also let me know what version of CSEntry are running on each?

From the logs it, looks like one of the devices that is trying to connect to the other device acting as the "server" is unable to do it. The logs are not indicating any additional information. If you swap the other device to act the server does it sync? Another option is to try reinstalling CSPro on the device that is having problem to connect.

Dear Savy,

Many thanks for your reply.

we have tried reinstalling CS PRO, clear cache also this does not work.

The only solution that we found is to reset the tablets. After doing so everything work perfectly.

We are not able to figure out what is the problem.

Another thing that we noticed is that this issue is spreading on other tablets also. and all the tablets are new ones. On certain tablets the sync does not function at all, on other tablets first sync is well done then afterwards it does not work and on others after a few syncs then it does not work again.

Our only option is to reset the tablet.

Please find attached log for another set of tablets.

Upon swapping the role the sync works well between the tablets but when reverting back the role the sync does not work.

Can you send us the make, model and Android version of the tablet that sync works and the same info for the tablet the sync fails to act as server? When you reset the tablets, did the Android version change?

This looks like a Lenovo device/brand speicific issue. Hope not updating the firmware to latest is a workaround that is fine by you. Also, please check Lenovo site here to see if a more recent firmware fixes your issues.
