You cannot do this easily in a data entry program, because you only have access to the data for the current case.
It is easy to do this in a batch or tabulation application, but I assume that this is not what you are trying to do.
If you want to do it from a data entry application, you have to maintain an external file that will store the attributes that you want to track.
