data convert into negative value

Dear Team,

We are using the CSPr0 7.5 version and found that when we entered the numeric field like mobile number, into the program and save. it is auto-converted into negative values. for example, I have entered 3432454333 and when we check data it will show -25433333 value. what is that problem, please help.

There is a bug in CSPro 7.5 when syncing numeric values over with 10 digits or more. We will have a fix for it posted soon. For now, please use alpha for very large numbers like phone numbers.

Thanks for the reply, can I change the numeric field to alpha on an ongoing project, is its effect on data or data shifting for previously entered data?

Yes. It is fine to change the type. With CSPro 7.5 it is even ok to change the size of the field during data collection since the new format does not use fixed length.
