Imputation process.

Post by robcar »

Estimated Greg:
I am developing an application to impute the omission of information on certain questions of
survey, for that I have to pre-generate a external file of good cases to a certain geographic level
(eg community) that will then be used as a "donor" in consistency and imputation process.

My question is if there are any similar case discussed in this forum, that could guide me in this process.
thanks for any help.

Greetings Rob.

I would first take a look at the example in the CSPro folder located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\CSPro 6.0\Examples\2 - Edits & Batch Programs\Deck Arrays

In the DeckArrays program, you'll see how the program uses save arrays to store the contents of hotdecks in external files. Then you will see some examples of updates to and retrievals from the hotdeck.

You could use your geographic codes to get data from donors in close proximity to the household with missing/invalid data.

Let me know if you have questions about this process.

Dear greg,

I was busy in processing consistency of a large volume of data
I resolved the imputation process using lookup files of cases good
certain geographical levels, this allowed me to work with certain percentage templates
Special features that helped set those inconsistent data
after all I had resolved the doubt on this issue, thanks for the input on the CSPro 6.
