IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE ADMIN PASSWORD IN CSWEB?

Post by munirmdee1 »

Hi CSPro Users,

I configured a CSWeb Server and it was working, but I changes the Database Password in the Xampp MySql, now when I try to access CSWeb it fails and give me the following error:

Oops! An Error Occurred
The server returned a "500 Internal Server Error".

Something is broken. Please let us know what you were doing when this error occurred. We will fix it as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

I know the reason it the password I changed, my question is, is it possible to change DB Password in CSWeb?
If YES how can I change it so that I put the one I put in Xampp MySql Database?

Thanks in Advance

The error you are seeing is different from the error that you would get when authorization fails. The database password you changed in XAMPP for MySQL is different than the admin password for CSWeb dashboard. You cannot change MySQL account passwords from CSWeb. Please send us your recent log files from CSWeb\Var\Logs folder to cspro@lists.census.gov to get more information on the error that you are seeing.
