Dataviewer editing data

Post by AriSilva »

I´ve created a dictionary with the security options marked as to Allow the use of Data Viewer to modify the data.
The dcf now has a security key.
I´ve generated a csdb with that dictionary.
In data viewer, I did not see any option to be able to change the data.

I don't think so you can edit data in Data Viewer.

For data editing use batch editing application.

Best.

Editing options will come in a future release. Having the security option now allows you to setup your dictionaries now to prevent that in the future.

I´m sorry, but I understood that, by reading the Security Options screen of the dictionary, that the first checkbox option "Allow the use of Data Viewer to modify data", would provide that facility.
