CSPro Excel Export

Post by emily123 »

Hello all!

I am new to CSPro here and have been trying to export my data to Excel. I have a number of questions with longer text responses in my survey. When I export to excel, these long text responses do not show up in the export. I can see them when I look at each individual entry in the CSPro Data viewer. How can I get my export to include these longer text responses? Thank you!

If those long responses have commas (,) in them, that could mess up the export to csv. If that is the case, you could try exporting to semicolon delimited or tab delimited instead. The idea is to find a delimiter that isn't in the response text.

If the problem isn't the delimiter then you can send us a small data file and dictionary that illustrates the problem at cspro@lists.census.gov and we will take a look.
