Lack of F8 in win8

Feels like a very stupid question, but the default keyboard in win8 tablets does not have the F8 button, som how do I get rid of error messages?
(I guess I could dig down and find a combination of keys, but I really would like a simple method to go on after error messages)

(and PS: I do have the same problem as Jose had in win8 - that the tree left of the form editor is empty. Makes it very hard to navigate between the forms)
