Data upload in Csentry

Post by htuser »

Dear all,
I would like to know if there's a way to uplaod data from Ms Access or Mysql to Csentry.
That's would allow to perform some update of existing data on the field using tablet or pda.
Sincerely yours,

As far as I know, no one has written a tool to do this. Most people are interested in the CSPro -> MySQL route, not MySQL -> CSPro.

Your best bet is probably to get your data in Excel format and then create a CSPro file from the Excel data. See attached for a document explaining these steps.

Thank you for all.
I think that the way CSPro -> MySQL is very urgent, but MySQL -> CSPro is very important.
You can finalize the tools for the "very urgent". The "very important" maybe considered when a full DBMS support Cspro release will be developed.

Thank you for the document. I will try this and i'll share results with you soon.

We're very grateful for all you're doing for the Cspro community.
With your help, very good and high knowledge are mastering by users.
Thanks for all.
