Errors with loading data entry form

Post by Arman Melkonyan »

Hi all,

I am new here and new CSpro user.
I am trying to open data entry application and receiving following errors:
1. ID Data Capture Type Invalid: It has been reset to his default value
When I am trying to "run" file, the following message occurs:
2."....".fmf form does not belong to any application

Please let me know how to solve this issues.

Thanks in advance,
Arman

The first message is telling you that the data capture type for a field is invalid. The data capture type tells CSPro how you want to input data for a field. It could be a text box, radio buttons, check boxes, etc. Say, for example, that you have an eight-digit field and set it to be the date data capture type, with format YYYYMMDD. If you change your dictionary and make the field seven digits, then the date data capture type is no longer applicable for that field. Once you save the form file with the data capture types set to their default values, you won't get this message again.

The second issue occurs when you open the forms file, with extension .fmf, instead of the data entry application, .ent. Make sure that when opening your application you open the .ent file (it will have a computer icon).
