Date field

Post by AriSilva »

When you touch the year, for example, the system shows the numeric keypad, and the user can enter a proper value, instead of rolling the year column. This is very good, but...
As the new value appears in the screen, the user forgets to click in the "OK" key (or touch the year value in the screen) and uses the right arrow to advance. But then the value is not received by the system.
This is happening with many interviewers, many times, no matter the instructions we give them, they think that it works as an alphabetic field, that you can key enter and the right arrow, no need to "ok" it.
Is there a way to overcome that?
This is so serious that we are thinking, for the next surveys, to not use date fields, it will be plain numeric fields in a group box (thank you very much for the group boxes).
Best

Thanks for the feedback. I think we'll try to make a change for CSPro 7.4.
