Ok that is good to know. You'll want to delete the lookup files in Dropbox and on the enumerators devices.

Going forward it is important to understand how you got the duplicates, so you can avoid it in the future as there isn't an easy fix. You cannot simply create a new lookup file. You must modify the existing one. The reason is the dictionary id you see isn't what makes the case unique "under the hood." CSPro actually assigns a GUID to each case to make it unique. So even though your staff file might looks like:

001 Ali
002 Aaron

In reality it's
e459e2b6-1fec-4d71-86c1-078cc2fe7433 001 Ali
sdf4343df-sd34-sdf3-ddf3-dsff34sdfsdf34 002 Aaron

If the GUIDs don't match CSPro will treat them as unique cases, so if you recreate staff and synchronize you'll end up with duplicates like this:
