Re: how registry lots users CSWEB

Hi Josh, Does that mean, by this way you'll consider implementing theses permissions too in DataViewer so a specific user can read-only/View only data ( No export, tabulate frequencies or convert)? Also the Csdb file can be opened only in DataViewer using the same permissions/rights? Thanks in advan...

Re: Encrypt database field

Hi Diaz, You can do that now and in more advanced way in the future : 1.- Now, you can design an user defined encryption/decryption function using Cspro programming language. This function must encrypt in postproc and decrypt in preproc of each item. The problem with this approach is, an enumerator c...

Re: Implementing CSPro forms in a web browser (HTML)

Hi Josh, I hope this will be possible in the future. There's multiple way: 1.- The simplest is a plugin for web browser Chrome and edge(The best plugin would the Csentry for windows, old fashion); 2.- Some php wrappers in csweb able to transform .pen in html/css form (this must require a php Csentry...

Re: Implementing CSPro forms in a web browser (HTML)

Hi Aaron,
Websurvey is one of the best improvement that Csprousers request!

Thanks a lot for your response,

Select deleted cases in Csentry

Dear all,
I would like to know how to select deleted cases in Csentry main application. I'm thinking an application where i use external dictionary and datafile. I must delete in the external dcf/file cases that are deleted in Csentry main application.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Allow main Csdb to support external dictionary/data

Hi Greg, Good news for considering this idea. This will improve the flexibility of Cspro. By Example, now lookup data can be transformed to Csdb format and synchronized to Csweb, ftp, or Dropbox via DataViewer and external dictionary already loaded on Csweb . So, Csentry application can get them dir...

Re: Deployment Package- SETUP.EXE

Hi Josh, It's a very interesting idea to install Csentry with user designed application, this with shortcut to desktop and program file. I've already installed NSIS, but i would like to know: a) Can we create installer for Csentry exe and associated dll, files so do user created application? b) If a...

Allow main Csdb to support external dictionary/data

Dear Cspro Developer Team, One of the main advantage of Csdb is that, it allow Csentry to use few files compare to .dat and .txt format. Greg informed me months ago that in a future release, resting files such as log and lst files would be also stored in Csdb. So we will have a single file to store ...

Re: Csdb and external dictionary/data files

OK. I use multiple csdb file, one for eau external dictionary using writecase. In the long run, when csdb can support multiples dcf, it will be more convenient to have one csdb file for all external dictionary: writecase, lookup file etc.
