Re: toUpper() and toLower() in cyrillic

Thank you for nice instructions on how to fix toUpper and toLower in cyrillic. I did test the Upper case flag, and it does not work: If I type lowercase cyrillic in an alpha field, it also shows up in lowercase, so I guess this is not an easy thing to fix in CSPro itself, then. Anyway: Your solution...

toUpper() and toLower() in cyrillic

Getting closer and closer and closer with my cyrillic application, but now my colleagues have reported a new problem: The ToUpper() and ToLower() functions does not work with cyrillc. And I've tested it: My colleagues are correct. (Guess for now I'll just instruct the interviewers to use lowercase w...

Cyrillic in check boxes

Getting closer and closer solving my cyrillic problems after version 5, now it seems I have only two problems left: 1) The cyrillic works fine on my computer, but not on the ones running russian windows in Kyrgyzstan. Makes it really hard to debug when I'm located in Norway ;) 2) Cyrillic in check b...

Re: Data Entry in Windows 8

I have big problems getting CSPro to work at all on my Win 8 Enterprise evaluation edition: Entry crashes the moment I try to open it, while CSPro crashes if I choose to make a new data entry application or try to open one of the applications in the example folder. It does not crash if I try to make...

Re: Encoding problems in CSPro 5

Finally found a solution working on my computers too: I had no problems using your method to convert non-CSPro files with weird charsets. It just didn't work for the CSPro files, and now I know why: the default for the non-CSPro files was that they were opened "encoded in ANSI" when using ...

Re: Encoding problems in CSPro 5

Thank you very much for trying, but no: it's still not correct.

..and now I'm starting to worry that we have to change the texts manually.. My russian speaking colleagues are so not going to like this :cry:

Encoding problems in CSPro 5

I and my russian speaking colleagues have been developing an application together - me on my western computer, and the other two on computer with russian windows operating system. The whole application has always had a "garblegarble" look like this: "Îáðàçîâàíèå ÷ëåíîâ äîìîõîçÿéñòâà&q...

Re: CSPro 5.0.1 Released!

Good news indeed. Congratualtions on the release! Gonna be fun to use it.

..but I was hoping for a version for android. What are the plans? Is it just around the corner, or should I stop holding my breath while waiting for it?
