Re: CSWEB Process-case

It may be that the dictionary has changed since data collection. See this post: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4612&p=14466&hilit= ... ses#p14466

Re: CSWEB Process-case

It looks like "php bin/console csweb:process-cases" ran successfully. However, you followed it up with:
  • php bin/console csweb
  • php bin/console csweb:blob-breakout-worker
Which wasn't necessary. Take a look at the destination database. Is your relational data there?

Re: Simplify Code

The assignments to F2001, F2002, F2003, and F2004 are what are of interest here. Have you just tried displaying them with an error message?
errmsg("%d, %d, %d, %d", F2001, F2002, F2003, F2004);
If these values are incorrect you need to take a step back and look why that is.

Re: Partially saved cases in completion report

Take a look at the ispartial function: https://www.csprousers.org/help/CSPro/ispartial_function.html From a menu application you'll loop over an external dictionary (e.g., HOUSEHOLD_DICT) and increment either the partial or complete count based on the result of ispartial: numeric partial_count = 0 ;...

Re: GPS for Area(Field) measurement

CSPro 77 (which be released soon) includes a method to trace or walk a piece of geometry. Then an area method is provided to calculate the area of the geometry. If you need to get started on it asap, I can send you an alpha version if you email cspro@lists.census.gov.

Re: cspro advantages

If I were to argue CSPro vs developing an in-house product I would emphasize reliability and price. 1) Reliability: CSPro has been used in 193 countries. By the end of the 2020 census round over 800 million people will have been counted using CSPro. 2) Price: The stakes are high in a national census...
