Re: I need your help

After opening the CSPro Designer, click Help -> Examples Folder.

That will open the examples folder on your machine. From there you can go into 1 - Data Entry\CAPI Census. Let us know if you still can't find the example.

Re: jquery

Are you using a local copy of the jQuery .js file? That is, one stored on the Android device? If so, this may be a problem with paths with the HTML viewer unable to access this file? Can you try using a remote one, like this: https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.5.1/jquery.min.js Does it w...

This is fixed in 7.6.2, which was put online today. If automatic updates are enabled, you will get the latest version from Google Play shortly.

Re: CSPRO crashes Exception Code c0000005

I can reproduce the problem now. In case you are interested in the technical details, when you call writecase or delcase in a loop, a SQLite transaction is started so that they operate quickly when you do many such operations in a loop. We did not account for the fact that you can close the file wit...

Re: PARADATA (CONCAT) keeps files open

Thank you for reporting this problem and supplying a nice test application. This is indeed a bug, which I just fixed. The fix will be in CSPro 7.6.2, which we hope to release this week.

Re: CSPRO crashes Exception Code c0000005

Odd. I ran your test program using CSPro 7.5 and 7.6 and I have no issues with it. It successfully shows me the case to delete, and I can do this multiple times (meaning the close/setfile work). Does this specific test application not work on your machine? More generally, is there a reason to close/...

Re: Problems with upgrading to 7.6

This is all a big mystery. I can open and run your application without issue (though no question text is defined).

We'll update the Edge browser control to the latest version from Microsoft for CSPro 7.7. Hopefully that will address some of these issues.

Re: reading a text file using forcase

This sounds quite strange because text data files are opened using the same mechanism as logic files (read using fileread). The only thing I can think of is that the text file's index is invalid, but I don't know why closing and opening the program would fix that problem. Just to test things, I woul...
