Re: option TITLE in selcase function

This is currently possible: https://www.csprousers.org/help/CSPro/s ... ction.html

If you put text before the dictionary name, that is the heading;
OK = selcase("This is the selcase heading", OCCUPATION_DICT, "")

Re: Edit or Automatic reload of *.ent file

We will consider this, though it's a very rare user who is hand-editing the .ent file, so it won't be the highest priority. However, you don't have to close the Designer to reload the file. You could do it pretty quickly: 1. Alt+F, C -> closes the file. 2. Alt+F, 1 -> opens the file most recently op...

Re: Font for heading message

I've added this, so when 7.7.1 comes out, you can use this functionality on Windows/Android. If you specify a directory in the PFF using the attribute HtmlDialogs, the HTML dialogs will be evaluated as follows: CSPro dialogs: 1. In the HtmlDialogs directory, if it is defined. 2. In the CSPro install...

Re: Not CAPI to CAPI program

The setting name has changed to "Use question text": https://www.csprousers.org/help/CSPro/c ... tions.html

That's the only thing the "CAPI mode" setting controlled--this was not the case many years ago--so we clarified it in the latest release.

Re: How to use DELCASE function to delete many cases in the csdb file ?

Try that loop without the key function. Delcase will delete the currently loaded case, so it's not necessary. I believe that will work for you...if not, let us know.
forcase DICT_NAME WHERE C24 = codeLogin do

Re: Re-arranging Records in a Dictionary Tree

You can use the Windows cut/copy/paste commands to manipulate your dictionary. When viewing your records in the dictionary editor, you can cut a record and paste it in a different location. That will change its order in the tree.

Re: Set output function splits file when number of cases increases

You are using the sysdate/systime function in your setoutput/maketext call, which will always give you a fresh reading of the date and time. I'm guessing you want to keep it as a single value for the duration of your program. Something like: PROC GLOBAL numeric startDate; numeric startTime; PROC ACH...

Re: Total Elapsed Time

The timestring function is for formatting dates and or/times. It can't be used for formatting a duration. In your case, you can use some math to get the values you want: numeric elapsed_seconds = END_TIME - START_TIME; numeric hours = int (elapsed_seconds / 60 / 60 ); numeric minutes = int (elapsed_...

Re: Dynamic Value Set from a Lookup File

With the model you are following, you have to declare codes and labels as arrays: Something like: array codes( 500 ); array string labels( 500 ); You can put that code before or after your nextEntry declaration. Better yet, use the valueset object: https://www.csprousers.org/help/CSPro/valueset_add_...

Re: Set output function splits file when number of cases increases

Can you share some code with us here, or at cspro@lists.census.gov? I would like to see how you are using the function.
