Re: How to apply rotation of Sections

Before you enter the data on the external forms, load it from the data file (in case it has already been entered). Then, after entering the data, save the data. PROC Q5 // load the case for Q1 (if modifying), or clear any data (if the case hasn't been added yet) if not loadcase (Q1_DICT, MEDIASURVEY...

Re: Single answer value in multiple answer question.

The way checkboxes work in CSPro, you won't be able to get EEEEE for "none of the above" because then CSPro will think you need five characters per checkbox field, and it only allows checkboxes for fields where all of the items are of the same length. If you really need EEEEE, then I would suggest t...

Re: Searching for variables in the DataViewer

We may end up redesigning parts of Data Viewer for CSPro 7.4. Do you have other suggestions for the tool?

Re: How to apply rotation of Sections

This is not very straightforward in CSPro. You can see one approach here: https://www.csprousers.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=411 Basically you have to setup control fields and then move (not skip or reenter) between sections. Move can go forwards or backwards. If you can work with your data split into...

Re: Updating a lookup file through a menu program

You shouldn't manually put the file anywhere on Dropbox. The easiest way for you to update the data is to open your modified file in Data Viewer and then select File -> Synchronize. You can then PUT the cases to Dropbox.

Re: Application Startup Error

Sure. Nearly all lines in the PFF are optional, so just leave out that StartMode line.

Re: Application Startup Error

When you use StartMode=Modify, then you have to specify the case key (IDs) of the case that you want to modify. For example:

StartMode=Modify;010502

If you don't want to open up a certain case for modification, then leave that line out of your PFF.

Re: Linux version of CSPro

Getting CSEntry to run on a Linux machine would not be too hard because it already runs on multiple platforms, including Android. The big work would be designing the UI screens, since they would be different from Windows/Android. If anyone wants to design the UI and has the programming skills, email...

Re: Problem concatenate several files

Are you using the most recent version of CSPro, 7.3.1? If not, try downloading it:

https://www.csprousers.org/downloads/cs ... o7.3.1.exe

The result of the Concatenate Data tool is a listing file that shows all of the input files. Is this list showing all of your files?

Re: Replace and/or delete apps

How are you updating the tablets? If you're updating by USB, then you can simply delete the old application. If you are updating via the Deploy Application tool, then there is no direct way to delete a previous application, but you can delete the PFF file for the old application. If you do that, the...
