Re: Biometric capture

Whatever fingerprint and/or iris scanner you connect to the Android device should come with its own app. There is no way to export the fingerprint data from the built-in fingerprint readers on Android. You can only use it to check that a person's fingerprint matches a fingerprint that was previously...

Re: Executing an excel file from cspro

Try the following:

execsystem("explorer.exe ELSI_51_Controle_Coleta.xlsm");

In the upcoming version 7.3 it will be even simpler. You will be able to do:

view("ELSI_51_Controle_Coleta.xlsm");

Re: proc statement

This has been addressed in CSPro 7.3. In that version you will get the error:

You just need to type a tab character using the tab key on the keyboard. Tab characters passed to the write statement will be written to the file as tab characters.

Re: CSEntry error 100110

Unfortunately the deploy applications tool doesn't really mesh with updating the application files using syncfile() in logic. When you use the deploy applications tool it does not upload the individual files to the server. Instead it uploads a zip file that contains everything. To update the applica...

Re: dateadd function

The dateadd function only works with YYYYMMDD format. If your date is in DDMMYYYY format you will have to convert it to YYYYMMDD . There are a few ways to do that. You can use division and modulus to extract the year, month and day from the date and then rebuild the date in the format you want. For ...

Re: ftp - deploy application

Yes. The username and password are probably cached on your computer. You can remove them using the Windows Credential Manager. You can open it from the Windows Control Panel or by typing "credential manager" in the Windows search box. Once in Credential Manager click on the "Windows C...

Re: Probleme in exporting data

That error just means that the CSPro TextViewer is unable to read the file that was generated for Stata. It is not an error with the export itself. You should still be able to import the data to Stata. The fact that the file is too wide could happen because you are putting the all the records occurr...

Re: duplicate keys in syncdata

In that situation I believe you will end up with duplicate cases. Whether or not cases are duplicated or overwritten in this scenario depends on which devices the cases are created on. When one case is created on enumerator A's tablet and another case is created on the enumerator B's tablet then tho...
