Editing positioning of data dictionary items
Hello, I have been adding items to the bottom of my data dictionary, but need to ensure that they are positioned in a certain order so that the correct questions are asked in the correct order when my survey is administered on a tablet. I originally thought that positioning them the way that I wante...

Version control support
Hello, I am running into a problem with importing my files after having re-named them. I am receiving an error message that indicates that my naming syntax is not unique and is duplicative, but when I check my directory I don't see any conflicts. Does anyone have any advice for correcting this? At t...

Re: 'Cannot initialize the compiler’ error when trying to view CAPI text in my form
Is there a another reason I wouldn't be able to select the CAPI text option? I checked the file tab of my application and see that my .qsf file (that contains the CAPI text) is not reflected, so I suspect this is the source of the problem (without the .qsf file to pull from, the CAPI text option wil...

Re: 'Cannot initialize the compiler’ error when trying to view CAPI text in my form
Hi Josh,
Thanks, I closed and re-opened the program, and the option to view CAPI text is grayed out. If the problem persists, I will post my application here.

Re: Best way to change form text to dictionary names instead of labels?
Ok, thanks for your reply, Josh! One more question - do you have any idea as to why some of the items from the dictionary do not transfer to the form when I drag the entire module to my form sheet? There doesn't seem to be any pattern between the items that are not appearing, and I have had to manua...

'Cannot initialize the compiler’ error when trying to view CAPI text in my form
Hello,
I am currently trying to edit the CAPI text in my form, but am receiving the following error message when I attempt to switch to CAPI text view - "Cannot initialize the compiler". Does anyone have any insight into why this is occurring, and advice on how to resolve it?
Thank you!

Best way to change form text to dictionary names instead of labels?
Hello, I am a beginning user and am attempting to modify an existing survey that is programmed in CSPro. I am wondering if there is a best practice for changing the text in the form to dictionary names instead of dictionary labels (which is the default when I open the current version); my current so...
