Sync error when downloading cases from CS Web using Data Viewer

Hello,
We have set up CSWeb, and publishing and deploying android Capi android apps to the server has worked fine, as has connecting the tablets via CS Entry and sending the completed surveys from the tablets to the CSWeb server. However, we are getting an error message with the final stage of downloading the completed tablet cases from the server from within the Data Viewer.
When I select "download" from the file menu within Data Viewer and then select "CSWeb", then enter the address of the web server and click "connect" it finds the survey on the server and lists the number of completed tablet cases. However, when I then select a location and name for the csdsb file in "Save as" and click the "download" button I get the following message "Error connecting to sync server". If anyone knows how to resolve this issue, then any advice would be greatly appreciated.
