Unexpected ending CSBatch

When running a batch application in CsPro 6.3.2 (05 May 2016) with keywords crosstab and/or freq CsPro will often (but not always!) crash after completing the run with:

This will not happen when called from batch file as in:

"%CSPro%\runwait" "%CSPro%\csbatch" chapt2.pff

Nothing is written to the output (no tables, no frequencies).

Changing file attributes and/or deleting *.tmp files did not have an effect.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

We've heard of this happening in the past. Can you use the CSPro 7.0 beta and see if it still happens:

I assume that you have OLD_TABS = Y set in your environment variables?

Thanks for your message. I tried CsPro 7.0 as you suggested and ran an application that would crash in 6.3. After three successful runs in 7.0 the same message came in the postproc of level 0.

OLD_TBD=Y
OLD_TABS=Y
are set in the environment variables.

That's interesting. If you can share your code, please send it to greg@csprousers.org and I can take a look at it. You don't have to send data.
