How I can provide Data with ASCII file

Post by naylinnsoe »

Hi,

Now I use CSPro Ver 5.0.2
And then CSPro 5.0 save Data with UNICODE?
My client asked to provide with ASCII file.
Characters in CSPro Data File *.dat is UNICODE or ASCII.
If the characters are UNICODE how I can convert to ASCII.

Any way to solve this problem?

Thanks.

You can use the tool that comes with CSPro, Unicode Text Converter, to turn your UTF-8 files back to ANSI files. However, if you have used any non-ANSI characters, these characters will get converted to question marks in your resulting file. If you have only used numbers and Latin characters, then your resulting data file will be the same.
