maximum number of dictionaries that can be added to an application

Post by sherrell »

hi guys,

I can't find anything in the helps, and I'm thinking there isn't a limit, but could you tell me if there is a limit to the # of dictionaries that can be added to an application? Data entry or batch app.

thnx, sherrell

There isn't one that I know of. A few years ago I worked on an application that had something like 20-25 external dictionaries. My guess is that if is a limit, that when you reach it you're at the point where you should rethink your application design :D.

haha :)

it's for a menuing system, as i'm handling the synchronization therein, which means i need to link in all the dictionaries i'm using; right now it's just 5, but will soon be a dozen or so. definitely (?) should be less than 20.
