Dear CSPro Team,
We need some help and confirmation regarding ID Duplicate on CSWeb synchronization.
We found ID duplication on the CSWeb when the surveyor synchronized their cases. We guessed it happens because a surveyor using a different smartphone but he/she used the same ID even though the content is completely different.
Would you please confirm whether our hypothesis is correct?
If not, could you please clarify other reasons why this happens?
I attach the csdb's sceenshot below.
As shown in the picture, 80601 and 80602 has 3 different contents.

Your hypothesis is correct. If two cases with the same case id are created on two different devices and synced to the server you will end up with duplicates.

To add to what Josh says, if you open the file in CSEntry (on Windows), you can select View -> View Duplicate Cases Only. That will show you the duplicates and allow you to delete them, change the IDs, etc.

Thank you for your reply. As you suggested, we might try to handle the ID duplicate by deleting or changing the ID code.
