ftpes Encryption

Post by chathu »

Hi,
I have configured a FileZilla FTP Server to use SSL/TLS Encryption, using a self-signed certificate. Once I tried to synchronize with CSPro using ftpes, it gives the error "Invalid username and password". In the FTP Server logs, it is stated that I have to use FTP over TLS and the plain FTP is not allowed.
Could you please consider about this matter.

Thank You.

If you look in the helps you'll see:

http://www.csprousers.org/help/CSPro/sy ... n_ftp.html
CSPro synchronization can work with FTP servers using encrypted transmission via TLS/SSL. There are two modes that CSPro supports for encrypted FTP: explicit and implicit. To use explicit TLS/SSL, provide a URL for the server that starts with "ftpes://".
Is this what your URL looks like?

Ya, the url is okay. I tried ftpes:// for explicit TLS and ftps:// for implicit TLS. Both are not working.

This is an ftp server setup issue and not CSPro sync issue. Please check FileZilla documentation to resolve this issue. Also, you could try IIS ftpserver setup on Windows as an alternative to FileZilla.
