When trying to update an application the system issues the attached message, saying that there was an error downloading the application. The application exists in the server, and the network connection seems to be fine. Instead of trying to update I try to install a new application I got the same er...

Re: excel to csdb could not create a new data file

Sorry, I´m already using execpff.
You guessed right, the problem is that the file I´m trying to generate is associated with a dictionary in the same program.
I´ve tried to close this dictionary before doing the execpff, then it seems to be working fine.

excel to csdb could not create a new data file

I have a xl2cs file that converts an excel to a csdb. It works fine if I double click it and use the "Create button". It also works fine if I double click in the pff that calls it. It was working fine also when calling the pff from a batch program using the execsystem function. But then th...

updating applications

I just noticed that when you ask to update an application, the system issues a message (in the portuguese translation), that there is nothing to be updated. But it does the job, it updates the application I´ve selected. Maybe this message is issued because there is no more than one application in th...

First of all, maybe the message translation I´ve done is wrong, because it says that I´ve done a SKIP, and the programa does not have any SKIP instruction, am always using the MOVE in...

Re: Persistent fields

Well, that´s what I am doing right now, using save/loadsetting to keep and use the last used field.

Persistent fields

Is there a way to define the "persistent" attribute to a field other than the identification? For example, we have to do a survey capturing the household addresses, street name, street number, apartment number, etc., and most of all we have to repeat the street name. We are doing that with...

Re: error opening file

Thanks, Josh,
We´ll do that as you said.
The problema is that we´ve tried to delete everything, reinstall cspro and the error stayed.
Should we have to delete this temp file also?

Re: error opening file

Follows the file that "supposedly" should be the database.
When double-clicking it asks for the proper dictionary, (it should not), and when browsing for the dict, it says "invalid file format. Dictionary is blank".
