Relation statement

According to the relation statement´s help, it defines a relationship between records.
That is very interesting, but I do not know how and where I can use this defined relation.
Can you give me an example on how to use it?
Is there an example of that in the cspro examples?

Relative and absolute file names

Is there a function to convert relative file names into absolute ones?

Re: Timediff function

Thanks, Josh, it suits me.
II would suggest, then, to write an example of that in the timestamp help.

savepartial not saving

Hi folks, I was trying to implement a data entry program to simulate the real one that would be used later on, and I had a very small data entry program with a couple of fields with noinput, just to go ahead, and a final set of instructions of savepartial and stop(1). The savepartial was never execu...

Timediff function

Hi folks,
There is a datediff, which is very useful.
Why not a Timediff?
I know it would depend on the systime format, etc, but it happens that every time I need to have a time lapse I have to use a function of my own, which might not be right.

Batch report

When executing a batch program with more than 9.999.999 persons, the DENOM column shows *******, which is not crucial.
The Freq column shows the right number of cases, but it is touching the Line column.
I know this is not important, there are other things in your priority list.

Re: Excel to CsPro producing wrong IDs

I'm really sorry, I messed up copying the files to a temp directory.
Here it goes again.
By the way, I think the error is produced by the excel formulas in the "sector_so" column (second column), although the excel does it wright in the spreadsheet.

Excel to CsPro producing wrong IDs

Sometime ago I had posted an issue that my ID (sector) had 15 positions, and when creating the csdb the ID, someties, was changed to a number "close" to the original. The answer was that the value was being handled by a floating point routine. Because of that I split my ID in five parts, U...

Re: FUNCTION statement

By looking carefully the function statement indeed has an END statement, what seemed to be wrong was the ; in the function declaration.
Sorry

FUNCTION statement

I was reviewing a third party´s program and I found the following command: FUNCTION TRABAJA(IND); The function command should be finished with an END statement, but the compiler did not detect that. Later in the program I found TRABAJA = PUNTAJES; How can a function name receive a value? And then NU...
