Re: Multi language @ Case tree

I created a test application using multiple languages and have not been able to recreate the problem. However, my application had only a few fields. Perhaps the problem has to do with rosters or other form elements. If you want, you can send your program to cspro@lists.census.gov and tell us what fi...

Re: Automatic naming a variable in the dictionary

These are our current conversions:

A: à À â Â á Á
C: ç Ç
E: é É è È ê Ê ë Ë
I: î Î ï Ï í Í
O: ô Ô ó Ó

Re: Multi language @ Case tree

Can you give an example of what is happening? I'm assuming that you have multi-language value sets. Are you saying that when you change the language the case tree language doesn't change? Does this happen on dynamic value sets?

Re: dateadd function

You can add an eight-digit item to the form and set the property date capture format YYYYMMDD and you'll be able to use it easily with the datediff/dateadd/datevalid functions. If you want it in a different format than yyyy/mm/dd, you can collect it like that, but then you'll have to transform it to...

Re: Duplicate records in a csdb

You can access the key by calling this:

uuid(DICT_NAME)

However, you can't change it in logic, so the above is mostly just for informational purposes (or if you're working with paradata reports).

Re: Math object

It's not as simple as including an existing C/Java math library because we have to wrap those functions to make them exposed in the CSPro logic language. For example, the CSPro function int calls into the C math function floor.

What math functions in particular are you interested in?

Re: protecting field in roster

What you need to do is have the protection code in an onfocus, which will get executed regardless of whether you're moving forward or backward in the roster. Something like this: PROC FERTILITY_QUESTION onfocus if MALE = 1 then setproperty (FERTILITY_QUESTION, "Protected" , "Yes&q...

Re: Synchronization Error while sync data on FTP

Are you using the same login credentials on both machines? See here for how to clear the credentials on Android:

viewtopic.php?t=2105#p6865

Then try the sync again and see what happens.

Re: getlabel from dynamic value

It's hard to tell just from you code. You can post your application and we can look at that actual program. However, when you're constructing the value set for NO_ART, is there a base value set that you're working off of? If so, your calls to minvalue/maxvalue/getlabel should use that value set name...
