Re: Bearing Calculation

Back in the old days before calculators and computers people used tables to calculate trigonometric functions: https://www.analyzemath.com/trigonometry/trigonometric_table.html You could use the same technique in your CSPro program with arrays or lookup files to create your own sin, cos and atan fun...

Re: Error in dictionary

Please try downloading the latest version of CSPro and try again. We recently fixed some issues related to that error. If that does not solve the problem please post your dictionary along with detailed steps to reproduce the problem.

Re: Missing topic of sychronisation

Please follow EXACTLY the instructions in this document: http://www.csprousers.org/resources/SimpleSynchronizationWithDropbox.pdf Lots of people skim the document and assume they should do the same thing as in older versions of CSPro but the steps have changed so please follow those steps exactly an...

Re: App crashes when opening a questionnaire

I spent some time running your application in the debugger and stepping through the code but I didn't see anything suspicious. I was never able to get the crash in the value set cleanup code to happen but that code has already changed a bit with initial work for the 7.3 release (still a long ways aw...

Re: App crashes when opening a questionnaire

I see a new crash report in the same value set code so maybe your call to setvalueset is not the problem.

Re: Timediff function

You would be better off using timestamp() to calculate time differences. Timestamp() returns a time in seconds so you can subtract one timestamp from another to get an elapsed time in seconds. http://www.csprousers.org/help/CSPro/ti ... ction.html

Re: App crashes when opening a questionnaire

I was just looking a little closer at your application and had one idea to try. If you modify the logic in the onfocus of the interviewer to remove the call to setvalueset() does it still crash? The crash is happening in code that has to do with cleaning up value sets so maybe it is related to that ...

Re: App crashes when opening a questionnaire

I think I see your crash report. We don't see the email addresses on those reports but there are a couple of reports from yesterday with Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition running Android 5.1 that occur in code that gets called when an application is stopped. That fits with the steps you gave us ...
